This article seeks to define a methodological approach for the study of epistolary discourses written by Early Modern women. With the aim of organizing a critical apparatus were key aspects about this textual expressions are contained -as well as the interaction between social aspects (gender, social condition) and scriptural aspects- we propose an analysis model based in the two dimensions that define epistolary communication: a practice of self-representation of the author and a practice of relation between the writer and her addressee.
