This project is centered on the risk assessment related to desinfection by-products (using trihalomethanes as guide) and the incidence of colorectal cancer. This is approached comparing the uses of water in a case-control study held in different cities of Spain, measuring the levels of trihalomethanes in tap water, measuring the exposure and uptake of the participants and working out the odds ratio (chances of having the illness divided by the chances of not having it).
