This thesis is divided into three sections: 1) Analysis of Mycenaean terms for cereals and their derivatives. In this chapter I analyze the tablets containing the three words that have been identified in the Mycenaean lexicon for cereals: si-to, ki-ri-ta e me-re-u-ro and the related compound word: for si-to the words si-to-po-ti-ni-ja, si-to-ko-wo, si-to-po-ko and a-si-to-po-ko, o-si-to; for ki-ri-ta the compound word ki-ri-te-wi-ja and ki-ri-ti-jo-jo; for me-re-u-ro the word me-re-ti-ri-ja.
