In this work we present the data of the study of the aquatic coleopteran community of the Gandaras of Budiño wetland (LIC area) (Pontevedra, NW of Spain). Semi quantitative samplings were conducted monthly during a year (february 2004-february 2005) in 8 points of two different types of habitat (4 in ponds and 4 in streams). A total of 2610 individuals belonging to 40 species of the families Gyrinidae, Haliplidae, Noteridae, Dytiscidae, Helophoridae, Hydrochidae, Hydrophilidae, Hydraenidae, Scirtidae, Elmidae and Dryopidae were collected. Different community parameters (species richness, abundance and diversity) were analysed, as well as the influence of different environmental variables (water temperature, pH, conductivity, %O2, and TDS) on the community. The results suggest a marked deterioration of the stagnant waters of the wetland due to a possible pollution. |

En este trabajo se presentan los datos sobre el estudio de la comunidad de coleópteros acuáticos en el humedal de las Gándaras de Budiño (zona LIC) (Pontevedra, NO de España). Se realizaron muestreos semicuantitativos mensuales durante un año (febrero 2004-febrero 2005) en 8 puntos de dos tipos de hábitats diferentes (4 en lagunas y 4 en arroyos). Se recogieron un total de 2610 individuos pertenecientes a 40 especies de las familias Gyrinidae, Haliplidae, Noteridae, Dytiscidae, Helophoridae, Hydrochidae, Hydrophilidae, Hydraenidae, Scirtidae, Elmidae y Dryopidae. Se analizaron diversos parámetros de la comunidad (riqueza de especies, abundancia y diversidad), así como la influencia de diferentes variables ambientales (temperatura del agua, pH, conductividad, % O2 y TDS) sobre la misma. Los resultados sugieren un acusado deterioro de las aguas estancadas del humedal debido a una posible contaminación. |
