This article aims to analyze the relationship between transitional justice and citizen participation towards achieving true justice with truth, reparation and guarantees of non-repetition. The article is developed in three chapters: a first part analyzes the relevant aspects of transitional justice at the international level (State responsibility and obligations); a second part studies the importance of the Comprehensive System of Truth, Justice, Reparation and Non-Repetition, looking at aspects such as its implementation in Colombia (novelties in restorative justice aimed at improving the system); Finally, a look is taken at the guarantees of non-repetition that are framed in the scenarios of citizen participation and the oversight developed within the framework of the peace and post-conflict agreement.
