En funció del projecte de recerca Els Jurats ciutadans com instrument per la redacció d'un Reglament de Civisme a Vilassar de Mar, concedit per la Direcció General de Bon Govern, Innovació i Qualitat Democràtiques de la Generalitat de Catalunya, es van realitzar l'any 2023 en la localitat barcelonina de Vilassar de Mar uns jurats ciutadans en els quals, guiats per un grup d'investigadors de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, els veïns del municipi van poder elaborar un document articulat que van presentar a l'Ajuntament per a la seva aprovació com a ordenança de civisme del municipi.
