Proceso de Acreditación DEMO 2021

Dear students and professors of the Doctorate in Economics, Organization and Management (DEMO),

We are writing to you as part of the internal evaluation committee (CAI) of the DEMO interuniversity doctoral program to request your collaboration in the last stage of the accreditation process of our doctoral program.

As you probably know, one of the main objectives of the European Higher Education Area is to facilitate the exchange of graduates between the countries that signed the Bologna Declaration. This makes it necessary the participation of a quality agency (the AQU in our case) that must certify that the contents offered by each program have sufficient quality guarantees. In the first stage of this process, the interuniversity Commission of the DEMO program has prepared a Self-report in which, following some guidelines set by the AQU, a description and critical analysis of our doctoral teaching approaches is made, presenting evidence. The second stage of this accreditation process will consist of a visit to the UAB by an external committee (CAE), selected by the AQU, on September 22, which will contrast the contents of the Self-report from a set of hearings.

You can see the Self-report at the end of this message.

We encourage you to make contributions or suggestions by e-mail (doc.demo@uab.cat), informing you that the period for suggestions will close on June 27, 2021 at 12 noon.

We thank you in advance for your collaboration on this matter of great importance to our program.

Best regards,

Miguel A. García Cestona, UAB, program coordinator;
