The Veterinarian Jaume Camps, from Barcelona (Spain), has distinguished for this done work in favour of "Animal Productions" as Product and Services Mgr, from his 26 years old until his actual 76. He participated in important changes in livestock and poultry new techniques of management, in important novelties, on nutrition, breeding, etc. and in all of them, he was one of the pioneers. He extended these news around Europe and Central America. He obtained a lot of recognitions, like the presidency of the "World Rabbit Science Association". Apart of that, He emphasized in pet nutrition, making bigger its activity in pet promotion, and in their welfare and protection. He is an important collaborator in Barcelona's College. And celebrates this year his 50 years as collegiate. He is besides, Academician, and was General Secretary of the "Acadèmia de Ciències Veterinàries de Catalunya". In 1999, he obtained the "President Macià Award", for his extended professional labour. |
