| Abstract: |
The treaty between Egypt and Hatti had been studied, almost exclusively, from the perspective of both kingdoms and, from the Egyptology, the figure of Ramesses II dominated the interpretation. However, Egypt, as Hatti, also had the necessity of stability and concentrates their courage in Palestine and Lybia, not only to have a territorial control - especially in Lybia -, also to participate on the commercial routes. Equally, the peace between both kingdoms made possible that kingdoms of northern Palestine as Megiddo o Hazor had a period of prosperity and participate on the flourishing commerce of the oriental Mediterranean. |
