Este artículo analiza las transformaciones que la reestructuración organizacional de las empresas trae consigo para las carreras laborales de los trabajadores. En particular, estudia los cambios introducidos en la compañía argentina Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (ypf) y las modificaciones ocurridas en los itinerarios ocupacionales de sus empleados como consecuencia de este proceso. La perspectiva metodológica es cualitativa y se basó en la realización de entrevistas en profundidad y análisis de fuentes escritas. Se halló que los trabajadores petroleros pasaron de tener una carrera específicamente delineada a un itinerario ocupacional refigurado, adelgazado, individualizado e incierto. |

This article analyzes the transformations that the organizational restructuring of firms entail for workers' career patterns. In particular, it studies the changes in the Argentinean company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (ypf) and the modifications that have taken place in the occupational itineraries of its employees as a result of this process. The methodological approach is qualitative and was based on in-depth interviews and the analysis of written sources. It was found that oil workers went from having a clearly delineated career to a refigured, reduced, individualized and uncertain occupational itinerary. |
