La regulación de las corridas de toros que se pretende con esta proposición es un intento de adaptar la voluntad de una parte de los isleños (fundamentalmente colectivos anti-taurinos) con la legalidad estatal vigente. Si no puede abolirse la tauromaquia, al menos, piensan los parlamentarios, se trata de que la misma no sea causa de maltrato animal en la Comunidad autónoma de Baleares. Sin embargo, los grupos políticos de derecha ya han anunciado, así como el Gobierno de la Nación, que si se aprueba recurrirán la ley ante el Tribunal Constitucional. |
| Abstract: |
This proposal aims to regulate the bullfights to adapt the will of a part of the Balearic islanders (particularly anti bullfighting groups) to the current legal system. Even if the bullfighting cannot be abolished, the parliamentarians consider that, at least, it shall not cause any animal abuse in the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands. However, the right-wing political groups, and the central Government, have already announced that they will appeal to the Constitutional Court, if this amendment is approved. |
