El SGR Grupo de Investigación ADS-UAB presenta con ésta noticia, su más reciente contribución al informe "Removing the Blinkers: The health and welfare of European equidae in 2015", publicado por el Eurogroup for Animals y World Horse Welfare. En dicho informe, que es el primero de su tipo, se recopila toda la legislación relacionada con los Equinos en Europa, y se señalan los principales desafíos para la salud y el bienestar de los mismos dentro de la UE, teniendo en cuenta que estamos hablando de una industria que genera más de 100 mil millones de euros para la economía. |

The SGR Research Group ADS-UAB is happy to present its latest contribution to the publication "Removing the Blinkers: The health and welfare of European equidae in 2015". Published by Eurogroup for Animals and World Horse Welfare this report is the first of its kind, as it is the first ever to investigate the scale of the horse sector in Europe, to recollect all legislation affecting it, and to point out the key health and welfare challenges of the EU's equids, bearing in mind that we are talking about an industry that generates more than 100 billion euros to the economy. |
