| Abstract: |
On the basis of a Punic cognate, it is proposed that Ugaritic mÅ¡lt means âstitched garmentâ and from reference to Hebrew and Syriac cognates it is argued that Ugaritic sgr means âcollarâ. It is also suggested that Ugaritic tprt may mean âsewn garmentâ, based on Aramaic cognates. |
