El pasado mes de junio INTERcids organizó las I Jornadas sobre Derecho y Protección Animal de Tenerife. De entre todas las ponencias, destacamos como novedosa la de Sergio Díaz Expósito, sobre la Divulgación de los delitos de maltrato animal a través de internet: la creación de "Animaldad". Dicha asociación lucha contra los delitos que se cometan contra los animales en el ámbito de la red. Su principal objetivo es intervenir la divulgación de material online sobre maltrato animal para identificar a los autores de los actos. La crueldad hacia los animales no deja de incrementar y las redes son un escaparate de los hechos. Al terminar la ponencia, se abrió debate sobre si la divulgación de las imágenes sobre crueldad hacia los animales es apología del delito o concienciación ciudadana, no concluyéndose específicamente sobre este extremo, pero sí llegándose a la conclusión de que es un asunto que preocupa al grueso de la sociedad actual. |

Last June, INTERcids organized the first Conference on Animal Law and Protection of Tenerife. Out of all the papers, we highlight the originality of Sergio Díaz Expósito, on the Disclosure of the crimes of animal abuse through the Internet: the creation of "Animaldad". This association fights against crimes committed against animals on the net. Its main objective is to interrupt the dissemination of online material on animal abuse to identify the authors of the acts. The cruelty towards the animals is still increasing and the net shows this. At the end of the presentation, a debate was opened on whether the dissemination of images of cruelty to animals is an advocacy of crime or citizen awareness, not specifically concluding on this point, but coming to the conclusion that it is a matter of concern to the majority of the current society. |
