Fecha: | 2016 |
Resumen: | The present communication will focus on MIRAS' (http://grupsderecerca. uab. cat/miras/) experience after a series of training sessions with a group of judges from the High Court of Justice in Barcelona who expressed their interest in improving the quality of interpreting in criminal proceedings. This joint collaboration between judges and MIRAS aims to develop a set of guidelines based on collected evidence that could be handled to any member of the Justice personnel who needs to communicate through interpreters. As part of a work in progress, the paper will explain the first results of this joint collaboration as well as the challenges alreay encountered. |
