La traducción siempre se ha comparado metafóricamente con el sujeto femenino. Mientras el autor y el texto original se figuran como hombres, la traducción se figura como mujer. Este artículo explora las metáforas de género de la traducción a lo largo de algunos periodos históricos y, por otro lado, se centra en la teoría de la traducción y de la subversión de las clásicas oposiciones binarias en términos sexuales y teóricos de Jacques Derrida. |

Translation has always been compared methaphorically with the femenine subject. While the author and the original text are figured as men, the translator is figured as a woman. This paper, on the one hand, deals with the gendered methaphorics of translation in some historial periods and, on the other, focuses on Jacques Derrida's theory of translation and its subversion of the classical binary oppositions in sexual and textual terms. |
