A partir da comparação entre a dimensão indicial da imagem fixa e da imagem-movimento, este artigo promove uma aproximação entre as idéias da ensaísta e romancista Susan Sontag e do cineasta e teórico do cinema Jean-Louis Comolli com o propósito de discutir alguns aspectos éticos e estéticos da fotografa documental e do filme documentário, detendo-se, em particular, na atividade do espectador. |

Starting from the comparison between the indicial dimension of still image and moving image, this article proposes an approach between the ideas of essayist and novelist Susan Sontag and those of film theorist and flmmaker Jean-Louis Comolli, for the purpose of discussing certain ethical and aesthetical aspects of documentary photography and flm, paying particular attention to the spectator's activity. |
