La información televisiva sobre inseguridad y violencia

Abstract:	En este ensayo señalamos algunos rasgos semióticos y discursivos que presenta la información sobre violencia e inseguridad en la televisión abierta mexicana. Se contextualiza la importancia del tema y el peso central que forma parte del discurso de medios en los telediarios y noticieros tanto matutinos como vespertinos; se rescatan de manera general algunos rasgos y estrategias utilizados sobre todo en la caracterización del rostro, el atuendo y el cuerpo de los delincuentes.
Abstract:	In this paper we point out some semiotics and discursive mechanisms of reporting violence and insecurity in the Mexican television. It contextualizes the importance of the issue and the weight as a part of media discourse both morning and evening editions. There are rescued in a general way some features and strategies used primarily in the characterization of criminals faces and clothing identifed in the news for analysis.
