Abstract:	Se proponen aquí algunas reflexiones derivadas de una investigación en curso sobre la presencia del "mundo narco" en la Red y sobre las estrategias que despliegan estas organizaciones clandestinas para conquistar espacios públicos, e incluirse con voz y mirada propia en las disputas por la imposición de las representaciones legítimas. Los imágenes femeninas estereotipadas juegan un papel fundamental en la representación visual del mundo narco, porque contribuyen a consolidar el aura de ficción que permea las imágenes de ese universo clandestino en los medios y particularmente en los diversos sitios de Internet atribuidos a esas organizaciones delictivas.
Abstract:	We propose in this paper some refections arising from an ongoing investigation on the presence of the "drug traffcking world" on the Internet and on the strategies deployed by these clandestine organizations to conquer public spaces, to narrate and insert themselves with their point of view in the disputes of legitimate representations. Stereotypical female images play a fundamental role in the visual representation of the drug trafficking world, among other reasons, because they contribute to strengthening the fictional aura that permeates images of that clandestine universe in the media and particularly in the various Internet sites ascribed to these criminal organizations.
