Plant biology : AHL transcription factors inhibit growth-promoting PIFs
Monte Collado, Elena (Centre de Recerca en Agrigenòmica)

Date: 2020
Abstract: How do plants respond to abiotic stresses such as drought, salt or cold? A new study in Arabidopsis reveals that the stress-responsive AHLs antagonize the function of the PIF transcription factors to restrict rosette growth and allow resource reallocation for stress-adaptive responses.
