Resum:	El objetivo de esta investigación es, mediante un estudio etnográfico, plasmar la visión del cuerpo como objeto en el bloque quirúrgico. Este concepto se ha ido fraguando a través de la historia bajo la influencia de factores sociotécnicos y socioculturales. Esto ha dado lugar a una desubjetivación de la agencia del enfermo reducida a agencia bioquímica. Para la investigación he utilizado la observación participante y entrevistas. Con todo ello se han podido analizar los factores relacionados con la actual visión del cuerpo en medicina y la relevancia de este conocimiento, especialmente para los profesionales sanitarios.
Resum:	The objective of this research is, through an ethnographic study, to capture the vision of the body as an object in the surgical block. This concept has been forged throughout history under the influence of sociotechnical and sociocultural factors. This has led to a desubjectivation of the patient's agency reduced to a biochemical agency. For the research I have used participant observation and interviews. With all this, it has been possible to analyze the factors related to the current vision of the body in medicine and the relevance of this knowledge, especially for health professionals.
