Abstract:	La batalla cultural entre los Estados Unidos de América y la Unión Soviética fue un capítulo más de la «guerra fría» entre ambas superpotencias tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial. En este artículo se estudia la participación de los intelectuales de nuestro exilio republicano de 1939 en el Movimiento de los Partidarios de la Paz impulsado por la Unión Soviética, que se inicia con la intervención de una delegación española en el Congreso Mundial de Intelectuales por la Paz celebrado del 25 al 28 de agosto de 1948 en la ciudad polaca de Wroclaw.
Abstract:	The cultural battle between the USA and the Soviet Union belongs to the chapters of the Cold War held by the two superpowers in the aftermath of World War II. This article studies how the intellectuals of the 1939 Republican exile took part in the Soviet Union-fostered World Peace International Committee of Intellectuals in Defense of Peace Council, which started with the participation of a delegation of Republican intellectuals in the World Congress of Intellectuals for Peace, held in Wrocław (Poland) on August 25-28, 1948.
