El Taller Masriera situat al Carrer Bailèn, 70-72, actualment en procés de reobertura, va ser fa cent anys un centre teatral dirigit per Lluís Masriera. La Companyia Belluguet durant la seva activitat compresa entre 1921 i 1936 va cultivar un teatre d'aficionats, privat, íntim i artístic que avui ens pot servir com a referent. El present treball té com a objectiu principal proposar un projecte artístic coherent amb l'activitat i les teories teatrals seguides per Lluís Masriera. Per això, se'n fa una revisió de com el director utilitza l'espai escènic, quins textos dramàtics s'escenifiquen, quins són els seus referents, i com n'és la recepció. En primer lloc, s'han obtingut dades sobre l'edifici (per quina raó va ser construït, qui n'era l'arquitecte, i com està en l'actualitat). Seguidament, s'ha explorat la relació de Masriera amb el fet teatral (adaptació de la sala Studium, la Companyia Belluguet, la singularitat de les posades en escena, i els referents europeus) que ha permès entendre per quin teatre apostava, la qual cosa ens ha dirigit al darrer apartat: el projecte artístic ideal marcat per les idees del director teatral Oriol Broggi, i l'Associació de Veïns de la Dreta de l'Eixample. Els resultats mostren la diversitat de possibilitats, però també la dificultat de dissenyar un projecte que s'adeqüi als objectius de Masriera: un equipament municipal, amb una companyia resident que proporcionés qualitat a la programació n'és una opció. Però mai se sap quin serà el veritable futur d'aquest teatre, que per ara per ara seguirà buit. |

The "Taller Masriera" located in 70-72 Bailèn Street (Barcelona) that is preparing a new opening, was a Theatre Centre conducted by Lluís Mariera one hundred years ago. The Belluguet Theatre Company created an amateur, private, and intimate theatre hub from 1921 to 1936; today we can take that company as a reference. The main goal of the current work is proposing an artistic project according to the activity and theatre theories followed by Lluís Mariera. For this reason, a review of how the director uses theatre space is done as well as which dramatic writings perform, who are his references authors and how the reception is. First, information about the building has been obtained (what was the reason for being built, who was the architect, and how its condition is nowadays). Then, a research has been done to figure out the relationship between Mr. Masriera and the theatre event (Studium Hall adaptation, Belluguet Theatre Company, theatre events singularities and Europeans referents). That investigation allows us understanding what type of theatrical performance he was into and bring us to the last part of the work: the ideal artistic project influenced by theatre conductor Oriol Broggi ideas and Associació de Veïns de la Dreta de l'Eixample (a neighbourhood cultural group). The results show the variety of possibilities, but the difficulty of designing a project able to be adapted to Masriera purposes: a city Theatre Centre runned by a resident company producing high quality performances; it could be an option. It cannot be known what will be the real future of that theatre that is empty right now. |
