Abstract:	En este estudio analizamos si el tipo de vivienda y las barreras físicas colocadas entre la calle y la entrada de la misma mantienen una relación estadística con la sensación de inseguridad en el entorno de la colonia. Los resultados sugieren rechazar tal hipótesis por no existir evidencia. Esta investigación permite al lector conocer los correlativos que se asocian con la sensación de inseguridad en la colonia. Para la realización de este análisis se utilizaron pruebas bivariadas y modelos multivariados; asimismo, se recabaron datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Victimización y Percepción sobre Seguridad Pública.
Abstract:	In this study we analyze whether the type of housing and the physical barriers placed between the street and the entrance of the street hold a statistical relationship with the feeling of insecurity in the neighborhood. The results suggest rejecting such a hypothesis given the lack of evidence. This research allows the reader to know the correlates associated with the feeling of insecurity in the neighborhood. For this study, bivariate tests and multivariate models were used. Data were collected from the National Survey of Victimization and Perception of Public Safety.
