Abstract:	Entre 1940 y 1960, Vicente Llorens elaboró una visión del exilio como constante histórica de la «discontinuidad cultural española », perspectiva que aplica en El desterrado y su mundo, un estudio y antología poética que nunca concluyó. En los últimos años del franquismo y primeros de la Transición democrática, Llorens revisó estas ideas en varios trabajos sobre Jorge Guillén, Pedro Salinas y Rafael Alberti, ejemplos de una obra que preservaba principios fundamentales de la tradición liberal y que, tanto por los sectores oficiales como por la llamada «poesía social», no había sido convenientemente valorada en el sistema cultural del interior.
Abstract:	Between 1940 and 1960, Vicente Llorens elaborated a vision of exile as historical constant of the «Spanish cultural discontinuity», a perspective that applied in El desterrado y su mundo, a study and poetic anthology that never ended. In the last years of the Francoist Regime and first years of the Spanish transition to democracy, Llorens reviewed these ideas in several essays on Jorge Guillén, Pedro Salinas and Rafael Alberti, examples of a work that preserved the fundamental values of the liberal tradition and that, as much on the part of the official sectors as on the part of the so-called «social poetry», had not been valued conveniently in the Spanish cultural system.
