Resumen:	Repopulating the catalan pyrenees : a wish or reality? recent years have seen a slowing down in the recessive trend of the population in the catalan pyrenees. Villages which have been on the point of becoming empty or have actually been deserted have been saved by neo-rural inhabitants, who are attracted to the way of life in these spots. For instance the cases of ossera, farrera and bor, places where different incentives have been put into practice in order to maintain the number of inhabitants. An example of these initiatives are : the craft industry of dairy products made with cow's milk; the retail of herbs, preserves and mushrooms or edible fungi; the production of hand-made goat's cheese; or art and nature centres.
