Abstract:	El propósito de este artículo es explicar cómo el Concilio de Trento, celebrado entre 1545 y 1563, influyó en la práctica litúrgica posterior. Esta presentación, obviamente, no pretende agotar la investigación sobre el tema, sino más bien presentar una exposición orgánica que, basándose en fuentes documentales, se concentra en tres aspectos que ilustran adecuadamente nuestro tema: los libros litúrgicos reformados; la participación en la misa y el culto eucarístico; el nacimiento de la scientia liturgica. Señalaré sobre todo los elementos de contrarreforma del mencionado Concilio más que aquellos del movimiento interno de reforma de la Iglesia.
Abstract:	The aim of this article is to briefly focus on how the Council of Trent, which took place between 1545 and 1563, influenced subsequent liturgical practice. The report certainly does not claim to exhaust the research on the topic, it aims to be an organic exposition which, based on documentary sources, focuses on three aspects that clarify our topic: the reformed liturgical books; the participation in mass and Eucharistic worship; and the birth of the scientia liturgica. The interpretative key, given to Trent's work, places emphasis more on the aspect of the Catholic counter-reformation than on that of the internal movement of reform in the Church, an aspect that was equally present in the Council.
