El xoc femoroacetabular (XFA) és una lesió poc coneguda però molt freqüent dins del món de l'esport, sobretot en aquells on hi ha molt impacte per a l'articulació coxofemoral. Les principals variants d'aquesta lesió, conegudes en l'àmbit de la salut com a tipus CAM, Pincer o mixt, es classifiquen segons l'alteració específica que presenti l'articulació. El tipus mixt presenta característiques de totes dues variants i és, de fet, la més freqüent en la pràctica clínica. Objectiu: L'objectiu principal és valorar l'efectivitat d'un tractament conservador en fisioteràpia amb pacients que tinguin un XFA tipus CAM, Pincer i mixt. Metodologia: Serà un estudi prospectiu controlat. Ens permetrà analitzar resultats crítics i funcionals d'esportistes d'handbol, que hauran detingut la seva pràctica esportiva, amb XFA (CAM, Pincer o mixt) que hagin seguit un tractament conservador. S'escolliran pacients amb aquestes patologies i es dividiran amb el subtipus tenint en compte els criteris d'exclusió. |

Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is a relatively unknown but highly prevalent injury in the field of sports, particularly in disciplines that place significant impact on the hip joint. The main variants of this condition, known in the medical field as CAM, Pincer, or mixed types, are classified based on the specific morphological alteration of the joint. The mixed type, which combines features of both CAM and Pincer, is the most common in clinical practice. Objective: the main objective is to assess the efectiveness of conservative treatment in physiotherapy with patients who have FAI type CAM, Pincer or mixed. Methodology: It will be a controlled prospective study. It will allow us to analyze critical and funcional results of atletes with FAI (CAM, Pincer or mixed) who have followed conservative treatment. Patients with these pathologies will be chosen and divided by subtipe, taking into account the exclusion criteria. |
