Antecedents: La paràlisis cerebral (PCI) és la causa més freqüent de discapacitat motora en edats pediàtriques, podem trobar diferents tipus de PC encara que la més comú és la PC espàtica, concretament de tipus diplegia espàstica. En aquest tipus de pacients l’aplicació del tractament s’ha de poder iniciar de la manera més precoç possible. Objectius: L’objectiu d’aquest estudi serà comprovar l’efectivitat de l’aplicació d’exercici terapèutic per millorar el grau de dependència motora. Mètode i anàlisis: Es reclutaran 46 subjectes, dividits en dos grups de 23 participants. El grup control rebrà un tractament d’estiraments, mentre que el grup experimental farà un tractament d’estiraments combinat amb exercici terapèutic de força isomètrica i excèntrica. Els resultats els obtindrem de 3 avaluacions diferents, una al començar el tractament; una altre al mes i mig del tractament; i una ultima avaluació al finalitzar-lo. Ètica i disseminació: L’assaig clínic es durà a terme d'acord amb els principis ètics de la declaració de Helsinki i llei orgànica 3/2018, de 5 desembre, de protecció de dades personals i garantia dels drets digitals. La identitat dels subjectes serà protegida i la seva informació clínica serà utilitzada amb fins d’investigació. Aplicació clínica de la investigació: El propòsit d’aquest assaig és millorar el to muscular per augmentar l’autonomia dels pacients. Fent una intervenció primerenca, aplicant un tractament relacionat amb el to muscular, podríem reduir el grau d’espasticitat que presenten i evitar complicacions majors optimizant la neuroplasticitat que presenten. |

Background: Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common cause of motor disability in childhood. There are different types of CP, with spastic CP, specifically spastic diplegia, being the most prevalent. In this type of patient, it is essential to initiate treatment as early as possible. Objectives: The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of therapeutic exercise in improving the degree of motor dependency Methods and Analysis: A total of 46 subjects will be recruited, divided into two groups of 23 participants. The control group will receive a stretching treatment, while the experimental group will undergo a stretching treatment combined with therapeutic isometric and eccentric strength exercises. Results will be obtained through three assessments: one at the beginning of the treatment, a second one six weeks into the treatment, and a final evaluation at the end of the intervention. Ethics and Dissemination: The clinical trial will be conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and Organic Law 3/2018, of Decemver 5, on the protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights. Participants’ identities will be protected, and their clinical data will be used solely for research purposes. Clinical Application of the Research: The aim of this trial is to improve muscle tone in order to increase patient autonomy. By providing early intervention and implementing a treatment focused on muscle tone, it may be possible to reduce spasticity and prevent major complications by optimizing the brain’s neuroplasticity. |
