Es ist eine bedauerliche Tatsache, dass die Ardham gadh -Sprache bislang in der Indologie nur wenig Beachtung erfahren hat. Mit seinem neuen Ardham gadh -Wörterbuch will der Verfasser dieser Zeilen diese Lücke füllen und damit einen Beitrag zum Studium der wichtigen, doch bisher vernachlässigten Religion und Philosophie der Jainas leisten. |

It is a regrettable matter of fact that until our days the Ardham gadh -language has received only few attention by the indologists. With his new Ardham gadh -dictionary the author of the following lines tries to fill in this gap and thus to contribute to the study of the important, but hitherto neglected religion and philosophy of the Jainas. |
