Based on the data obtained through in-depth interviews with nine Japanese-speaking parents whose spouses are Catalan native speakers, we describe these families' language policies in terms of how they shed light on how parents cope with transmitting Japanese in such contexts. 本研究はカタルーニャの日本人学校における言語教育を言語政策の視点から特にイデオロギーに着目して分析し、学校の言語教育に最も大きい影響を与える要因を探る。海外における日本国民の教育機関として、日本人学校はナショナルな視点、地域的な視点、そしてグローバルな視点を教育に盛り込むことが期待されており、言語教育はこうした期待に応えるための手段の一つとされている。学校長や生徒の家族との半構造化インタビューのデータを分析した結果、日本のイデオロギーが特に学校や短期滞在の駐在員家庭の言語および言語教育に対する見方に大きく影響していることが分かった。また、イデオロギーをふんだんに含んだトップ・ダウン式の言語教育政策は現状に即していないことが明らかになった。さらに、本研究は在外日本人学校の言語教育を現状に合わせて見直しする必要性、そして究極的には言語教育政策をデザインする段階で不在となっているエージェント（学校長、教師、保護者）および参加者（生徒）をもそのプロセスに含めることを提唱するものである。.

This study explores language use in Japanese-Catalan/Spanish families in Catalonia with a special attention to Japanese. In a community such as Catalonia wherein two languages of different status are in conflict within its own territory, the ability of families to maintain a socially 'weaker' language and transmit yet another language that does not have an official status within the community raises an important question: how do these cross-linguistic families cope with a 'double minority context' in terms of organising their language use within the family? Analysing the data collected through a questionnaire survey conducted with 29 Japanese-Catalan/Spanish-speaking families living in Catalonia revealed that the parents in said families adopted a mostly monolingual use of Spanish; however, this practice does not affect the families' Catalan and Japanese use. Aquest article presenta els resultats preliminars d'un projecte en curs sobre la política lingüística de les famílies transnacionals multilingües d'origen japonès instal·lades a Catalunya. A partir de les dades obtingudes mitjançant els qüestionaris i les entrevistes semidirigides, l'estudi explora les trajectòries lingüístiques dels progenitors japonesos i intenta identificar les ideologies subjacents a la seva pràctica lingüística i a l'aprenentatge lingüístic, que formen la.
base de les gestions lingüístiques familiars. L'anàlisi de les dades demostra que l'aprenentatge i l'ús de la llengua en la comunicació amb la parella es basen en la visió dicotòmica del castellà com a llengua rellevant per a tothom i del català com a llengua secundària. [...]
