The present thesis analyzes the conflicts over water in Aragón in a context of crisis and transition between two paradigms: the renaissance paradigm of dominance over nature, in its modern vision of hydraulic regenerist structuralism from the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th, and the new paradigm of sustainability that emerges at the end of the 20th century and definitely tends to have an impact at the beginning of the current 21st century.
