Abstract:	First : Is it possible and suitable to translate the word «Dasein», used by Heidegger in Being and Time? The author thinks it is and defends the Italian translation by Pietro Chiodi (translation that, however, the author regards as out of date on the whole), who uses «esserci » (Being-there) as a perfect substitute for Dasein. Second: Is it true that German language is untranslatable? The author thinks it is a senseless statement. Who maintains that statement does not deserve to use his own language.
