A la manera de Callot : la poética ecfrástica de E.T.A. Hoffmann

Resum:	Desde el punto de vista histórico el cuento fantástico parte de la obra de E. T. A. Hoffmann y de su recepción posterior en Europa, con Francia como epicentro. Aunque ya ha sido comentado la raíz intermedial de su producción, la crítica aún no ha estudiado suficientemente el modo en que Hoffmann recurre a los grabados de Jacques Callot para articular su propio programa estético. Como contribución a una comprensión más profunda del hoffmanianismo, del que se origina el posterior fantastique o género fantástico, ofreceré en este artículo un análisis de la poética ecfrástica de Hoffmann inspirada por las obras de Callot. Para ello me centraré en tres paratextos fundamentales: "Jaques Callot", el prefacio a "Die Abenteuer der Silvester-Nacht" y el prólogo a su novela Prinzessin Brambilla.
Resum:	From a historical standpoint, the fantastic tale derives from the works of E. T. A. Hoffmann and their subsequent reception in Europe, with France as a disseminating epicenter. Although the intermedial character of his production have been noted, critics have not sufficiently studied how Hoffmann drew upon Jacques Callot's etchings in order to express his own aesthetic program. As a contribution to a deeper understanding of hoffmanianism as a phenomenon, from which the fantastic genre originates, I offer in this article an analysis of Hoffmann's ekphrastic poetics inspired by Callot. I focus on three main paratexts, "Ja[c]ques Callot", the preface to «Die Abenteuer der Silvester-Nacht» and the prologue to the novel Prinzessin Brambilla.
