Abstract: The mobility of individuals creates a space for daily use, living space. If there is one thing we can say about the mobility of individuals over a territory, it is that it is chaotic and irregular: the social, economic and demographic characteristics of individuals and the activities they perform according to these characteristics, make their mobility different and, there-fore, its distribution varies over the day, the week or the year. Population mobility needs to be taken into account for the location of facilities of all types, for the population which is in a place for only a few days in the year also buys food, can become ill and need a doctor, consumes drinking water and produces waste, in exactly the same way as the census population. Population mobility has to be taken into account so that everyone can obtain and enjoy all the opportunities offered by any territory.
