IDEAS - Iniciativas de desarrollo educativo y sociocomunitario

Given the numerous petitions received these last days, the Organizational Committee of the International Congress “Educational Institutions as promoters of Social Community development” has decided to extend the call for papers (oral and posters) to next 30th of August 2015.

This Congress, that will be celebrated in Cartago (Costa Rica) next 25th and 26th of November 2015 will be the last activity of IDEAS Project “Initiatives for the Educational and Social Community Development and”, underwritten by PROEDUCA program of the Public Education Minister of Costa Rica and by European Union, and deployed by Organizational Development Team (EDO) and the Technologic Institute of Costa Rica.

The purpose of the Congress is to gather the maximum number of authorities, teachers and managers of educational institutions, regional directors of education, counselors of youth and adults, pedagogues, social educators, administrative staff, university researchers, experts and other professionals related to it and interested on socio-educational intervention in those groups that, historically, has had more difficulties to carry on their studies.

We encourage professionals, university teachers, tertiary students and other people interested in the topic, in taking advantage of the extended period for presenting their contributions, and thus helping to create a reflection and discussion space and a mutual enrichment.
