IDEAS - Iniciativas de desarrollo educativo y sociocomunitario

The Conference is developed as a final activity of IDEAS Project "Initiatives for educational and socio-community development", and its intention is to gather together as much authorities, teachers, heads of education institutions, advisors of young and adult people, pedagogues, counsellors, social educators, administrative staff, university researchers, experts and other professionals related and interested in socio-educational intervention of those groups that traditionally have had difficulties to carry on their studies. 

This activity will serve as a forum to present main results achieved for IDEAS project, as well as the activities designed and implemented in different night-shift centres that have participated in training and counselling activities promoted from the Project. Likewise, it will be a space to share thoughts, successful experiences and strategies that help to integrate new practices and improvement plans that enhance reforms of institutional policies. 

More than 300 people, from 10 different countries, will participate. Among them, it is already confirmed the attendance to the Conference of delegations from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, México, Nicaragua, Panama, Portugal; Uruguay and Venezuela. The Conference will have 2 main speeches, rounded tables where institutions related to the project will present their achievements, and oral communications and posters where a considerable number of national and international teacher will explain their projects and thoughts about the basic lines of the Conference.
