IDEAS - Iniciativas de desarrollo educativo y sociocomunitario

The website of the IDEAS Congress holds the final program that, under the theme “Educational institutions as promoters of equity and socio community development” will be developed next 25th and 26th of November 2015 in the Campus of the Technological Institute of Costa Rica placed in Cartago city (Costa Rica).

The Congress is the final activity of IDEAS project “Initiatives for Educational and Socio Community Development”, and its intention is to gather together as many professionals as possible such a authorities, teachers and head teachers from educational institutions, regional directors of education, advisors of adult and young people, pedagogues, counsellors, social educators, administrative staff, researchers, experts and other professionals related and linked to socio educational intervention in groups that usually have obstacles to go on their studies.

This activity will be used as a forum to present the main reached by IDEAS Project, as well as to present the activities designed and implemented in several night shift centres that have participated along the Project in the activities of training and advising. Likewise, it will be a space to share thoughts, successful experiences and strategies that help to incorporate new practices and improvement plans that promote a reform in institutional policies. Currently, the Congress is full and there are no vacancies left, having confirmed the presence of delegations from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Portugal, Uruguay and Venezuela.
