Abstract:	La suma de la crisi econòmica i la mutació tecnològica constant ha dibuixat un escenari molt selectiu. En el cas de l'Estat espanyol, l'erràtica regulació del sector ha afegit elements d'incertesa i ha afeblit l'oferta del servei públic audiovisual. En aquestes condicions, el repte per a la CCMA és esdevenir ràpidament el tercer o quart operador de referència en l'àmbit estatal, i redefinir la política de pactes i aliances a escala espanyola i europea. Cada cop tindrà més sentit esdevenir un operador actiu més enllà de l'espai estrictament estatal, així com adquirir drets esportius o de ficció amb criteris de «finestra lingüística». Els pròxims tres o quatre anys seran els més determinants de la història de la CCMA. La confluència històrica de canvis econòmics, polítics, culturals o tecnològics així ho fa pensar. Hi ha en joc una part substantiva de la qualitat democràtica, de la projecció de la identitat, la llengua i la cultura catalanes, així com la possibilitat de consolidar un clúster audiovisual que contribueixi a la renovació i la modernització del teixit industrial i del model econòmic català.
Abstract:	The combination of the economic crisis and ongoing technological advances has brought about a very selective scenario. Moreover, in the case of Spain, the poor and erratic regulation of the sector has created uncertainty and weakened the supply of public service broadcasting. Under these circumstances, the challenge for the CCMA is to rapidly become the third or fourth operator of reference at State level and, from this position, define a new framework of agreements and alliances throughout Spain and Europe. The CCMA has to become an active operator in the European area and it needs to acquire sports and fiction rights with criteria of «language window». The next three or four years will be decisive in the history of the CCMA due to the exceptional confluence of economic, political, cultural and technological changes. The democracy and projection of Catalan language and culture are at stake, and so is the possibility of consolidating an audiovisual cluster that will contribute to the renovation and modernisation of the Catalan industrial fabric and economic model.
