A teoria das inferências temporais desenvolvida por Guilherme de Ockham é uma das inovaçoes mais relevantes da lógica medieval, na medida em que constitui a primeira exposiçao detalhada sobre assunto. Basicamente, Ockham sustenta que tais inferencias caracterizar-se-iam pelo fato do tempo ser crucial para determinaçao da sua validade, e, neste contexto, cumpre ressaltar tanto a discussao sobre as conseqüencias absolutas e fatuais, quanto a silogística temporal. |

The theory of the temporal inferences improves by William of Ockham is one of the most important innovation of the medieval logic, since it establishes the first detailed exposition about the subject. Essentially, Ockham asserts that such inferences would be characterized by the time, which is crucial in establishing its validity, and in this context it has to be emphasized not only a discussion about the absolute and factual consequences but also the temporal syllogistic. |
