This module brings the student to the research frontier in Economics. The student has to master the existing literature and identify interesting open questions to be addressed. The student has a tutor who has the role of supervising the student's work. The tutor provides the student with a list of articles to read and understand. The tutor and the student meet regularly to discuss the contents of the suggested readings, to fix potential problems and to identify new open questions. This process provides the student with a thoughtful knowledge of the state of the art research in the field of interest and allows him/her to identify interesting unanswered questions. The tutor evaluates and certifies the work done by the student. |
