Abstract:	The report summarizes the Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals titled "Navigating Sustainability on a Changing Planet," at which the methodology for linking societal goals to Essential Variables (EVs) was discussed. In the first part, the report details the background for the need to develop a methodology to link societal goals to EVs and introduced the methodology. The second part contains the technical report on the workshop proceedings.
