Resum:	El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar y comparar las técnicas de traducción utilizadas en las versiones en catalán y en castellano de la novela de Patrick Rothfuss "The Name of the Wind" para aquella terminología propia del universo que inventa el autor. En primer lugar, se pretende realizar un análisis del texto original para detectar todos aquellos términos propios creados por el autor. Posteriormente, se investigará qué técnicas se han usado en catalán y castellano para sus traducciones y se realizará una clasificación de estas. Finalmente, se valorarán estas soluciones dadas por los traductores y, si se cree conveniente, se harán también propuestas alternativas para la traducción de algunas palabras.
Resum:	L'objectiu del treball és analitzar i comparar les tècniques de traducció emprades en les versions en català i en castellà de la novel·la de Patrick Rothfuss "The Name of the Wind" per aquella terminologia pròpia de l'univers que inventa l'autor. En primer lloc, es pretén realitzar una anàlisi del text original per detectar tots aquest mots propis creats per l'autor. Posteriorment, s'investigarà quines tècniques han estat emprades en català i castellà per a les seves traduccions i es realitzarà una classificació d'aquestes. Finalment, es valoraran aquestes solucions donades pels traductors i, si es creu convenient, es faran també propostes alternatives per a la traducció d'alguns mots.
Resum:	My aim with this research is to analyse and compare the different techniques used in the Spanish and Catalan versions of the Patrick Rothfuss' novel "The Name of the Wind" to translate the own terminology belonging to the universe created by the author. First, I will try analyse the original text to select all the own words created by the author. After that, I will make a research to discover which techniques have been used in the Catalan and the Spanish versions to translate them and I will classify them. Finally, an evaluation of these solutions given by the translators will be made, and, if it is considered necessary, a proposal of alternatives to the translations of some words will also be given.
