Abstract:	La determinación del volumen de plantilla de la unidad electoral es transcendental para determinar tanto la posibilidad de constituir órganos de representación unitaria como su tipología y dimensión. Si se quiere garantizar la adecuación de tales órganos a la realidad que deben gestionar resulta imprescindible reformular las reglas de cómputo establecidas por nuestra normativa, porque plantean numerosas dudas interpretativas que generan inseguridad jurídica y excluyen indebidamente a una parte del personal destinatario de la actividad representativa.
Abstract:	The determination of the staff volume of the electoral unit is transcendental in order to determine both the possibility of constituting bodies of unitary representation and their typology and size. If we want to guarantee the adequacy of such bodies to the reality they must manage, it is essential to reformulate the calculation rules established by our regulations, because they raise numerous interpretative doubts that generate legal insecurity and unduly exclude part of the personnel receiving representative activity.
