Resum:	Is politics disappearing from a world where the power of national state is declining and in which thefate ofnational communities is more and more dependant on the almost anonymous logic offinancial capital? The political scenario is totally different nowadays and so are their actors. Today television and other media have become the forums for political competition and decision. Political parties are becoming the technical machinery helping personal leaderships constituted in the public scene as representative images. This process ofchange is evident worldwide but especially in new democracies as Argentina, which we examine here.
