La dilución de las fronteras : hacia una televisión "sin fronteras"
Imbert, Gerard (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid)

Data: 2004
Resum: Television proposes products more and more hybrid and serialized, with an evolution towards a transcultural model, and is transforming into one of more effective instrument of acculturation. This evolution is especially visible in reality shows and quiz-shows, in real TV. But television also operates as a border line: between reality and imaginary, and institutes a sensible relation - as positive as negative - with reality. This relation, that is ambivalent, fluctuates between an euphoric and a disforic position, between an hyper-visiblization of violence and a publicitation of intimacy, that transgress or reverse codes. Produces one kind of narrative that is a permanent play with representation, between ludic and dramatic, but always hyper-realist.
