La representación cinematográfica en la construcción de la identidad subjetiva de género y del quehacer político

Abstract:	A partir de la historia oral de una destacada militante mexicana, analizamos la relación entre la construcción de su identidad subjetiva de género y la apropiación de un discurso y quehacer político feminista, mediante su identificación con el personaje principal de la película Retrato de Teresa (P. Vega, Cuba, 1979). La investigación es multidisciplinar en su planteamiento teórico en la medida en que apela tanto a conceptos de estética del cine, narrativa audiovisual, antropología, semiótica, teoría feminista en general y teoría fílmica feminista en particular, que nos permiten explicar el proceso de identificación en el caso. Consideramos así la capacidad del texto audiovisual para generar sus propios espectadores y el proceso de identificación en el caso. El análisis se centra en dos ejes: la vida privada cotidiana de la sujeto y su identificación con un filme de los setenta.
Abstract:	Starting from the personal history of an outstanding Mexican activist, weanalyse the relationship between subjective construction of gender identityand the assumption of a feminist discourse and political work through heridentification with the main character of the film Retrato de Teresa (P. Vega,Cuba, 1979). This research is multidisciplinary in its theoretical approachdue to the use of different perspectives to explain the process of identificationin the case: from concepts used in Film Aesthetics, Audiovisual Narrative,Anthropology or Semiotics, to Feminist Theory in general and Feminist Film Theory in particular. Therefore we defend the power that the audiovisualtext has to generate its own spectators and the process of identification inthis case. The analysis focuses on two themes: the everyday private life ofthe subject and her identification with a film of the seventies.
