Resum:	Entre los siglos XIX y XX, la catedral de Burgos sufrió una serie de intervenciones destinadas a aislarla de su entorno urbano. A fines del pasado siglo, el historiador y arquitecto Vicente Lampérez protagonizó las restauraciones más importantes en los edificios anejos a la catedral: los claustros y el palacio arzobispal. Éstas han configurado en gran medida la imagen del conjunto episcopal que podemos contemplar hoy en día.
Resum:	Between the 19th and 20th-centuries, the Burgos Cathedral was the object of some works of restoring destined for isolating it from its urban environment. At the end of the last century, the historian and architect Vicente Lampérez y Romea attained the most important restoring works in the Cathedral outbuildings: the cloisters and the Episcopal Palace. These architectonic operations have formed to a great extent the image of the Episcopal ensemble of Burgos that we can see today.
