Abstract:	El presente articulo pretende establecer un estado de la cuestión sobre el marco legal del oficio de carnicero en las comunidades judías de la Corona de Aragón entre los años 1250 y 1330. En un primer punto, se analiza el significado de comunidad y su realidad jurídica con el objetivo de situar a las carnicerías y carniceros en su contexto legal y social. A continuación, se discutirá la casuística relativa al desempeño de este oficio, poniendo especial énfasis en la interacción con el entorno cristiano. Finalmente, se indagará en los indicios sobre una posible tendencia asociativa entre los carniceros comunales. Este trabajo aspira a ser un punto de partida para futuras investigaciones.
Abstract:	This article aims at discussing the state of play of the studies on the legal framework of the Jewish butchers in the Crown of Aragon between 1250 and 1330. In the first section, we will analyze the medieval concept of community as a legal reality. Our objective here is to place Jewish butcheries in their legal and social contexts. Then, we will delve into the casuistry related to this job, highlighting to the relationship of Jewish butchers with the Christian environment. Finally, we will explore the hypot hesis of an association trend among communal butchers. This works expects to set a departing point for future research.
