Abstract:	El libro analiza el surgimiento durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX de la psicología como una ciencia de los estados mentales de los individuos. En el siglo XX, nuevos avances tanto teóricos como instrumentales permitieron el surgimiento de las neurociencias. El interés generado por éstas y sus bonitas (y convincentes) imágenes cerebral han desatado un interés desmesurado hacia lo neurológico, momento en el cual toda disciplina añade un prefijo 'neuro-' a sus investigaciones, hecho debatido por los autores.
Abstract:	This book works on the emergence of psychology during the second half of 19th Century as a new discipline, focused into the analysis on human's mental states. New advances, both theoretical as well as instrumental, made possible the emergence of neurosciences during 20th Century. The exponential interest among other disciplines' experts on neuroscientific images and i deas has yielded to the extended and general use of "neuro-" prefix. This situation is under critical analysis of both authors.
